About these terms

This website is operated by Book Ubud and presents Angga Sari Villa in Petulu, Ubud, Bali. By using the site you agree to these terms. The content, photographs and text belong to Book Ubud and may not be reused without written permission.

No booking or payment on this site

This site does not process bookings or payments. Every booking is confirmed directly with the host over WhatsApp, and any price shown on the site is an indicative starting rate. The written quote the host sends you on WhatsApp is the price that applies.

Quotes and pricing

Prices are quoted in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) and may vary by season and length of stay. A quote is valid for the dates and guest count stated in it. We may correct an obvious pricing error before you pay anything.

Payment

A deposit of 50 percent confirms the booking, and the balance is paid on arrival. We accept bank transfer in IDR or USD, Wise, or cash on arrival. You receive a written confirmation with the bank details before any payment is made.

Cancellation and changes

Cancel at least 7 days before check-in and your deposit is refunded in full, with no fee. Inside 7 days the deposit is non-refundable, though we will always try to move your dates instead. If you do not arrive and do not tell us, the booking is treated as a cancellation.

Check-in, check-out and occupancy

Check-in is from 14:00 with our team on site, and check-out is by 12:00. Luggage storage is available after check-out, and late check-out to 14:00 is free whenever no other guest arrives that day. The villa sleeps up to four guests, and this limit is strict.

House rules

Cats are welcome; other pets only with prior agreement. Smoking is allowed only in the designated outdoor areas. Parties and events are not permitted without the owner's approval. Guests are expected to respect the banjar, quiet hours and the villa's neighbours.

Your responsibilities

You agree to give accurate details when you enquire, to show a valid ID on arrival, and not to sublet the villa or exceed the agreed occupancy. You are responsible for any loss or damage caused by you or your party during the stay.

The photo-match guarantee

If the villa does not match the photographs on this site when you arrive, tell the host at once. We will move you to another villa we operate or refund the nights you did not use. The honest notes on the villa page, such as roosters at dawn or the narrow lane, are disclosed up front and are not grounds for a refund.

Third-party services

Airport transfers, in-villa massage, scooter rental, babysitters and similar services are provided by independent third parties. We help arrange them as a courtesy. The contract for those services is between you and the provider.

Liability

We take reasonable care to keep the site accurate and the villa safe. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of personal belongings. We recommend travel insurance that covers your trip and your possessions.

Events outside our control

We are not responsible for events beyond our reasonable control, including weather, natural events, road closures, utility or internet outages, or scheduled ceremonies in the village. Where such an event affects your stay, we will work with you on a fair solution.

Intellectual property

All text, photographs, layout and code on this site are owned by Book Ubud and protected by copyright. You may not copy, republish or use them commercially without written permission.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. If a dispute arises, we ask that you contact us first so we can resolve it directly. Unresolved disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bali, Indonesia.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version. Continuing to use the site means you accept the version in force at the time.
